I'M A FIERCE ADVOCATE FOR KIDS
 & INCREASED GRADUATION RATES!

In my first four years on the Thompson School Board, I have consistently championed initiatives that positively impacted graduation rates. We can achieve a 100% graduation rate!

2019 81.1% - 2022 87.6%

6.5% increase for all students

17.6% increase for at-risk students

Why focus on graduation rates? It's easy to get overwhelmed with all the data, priorities, and initiatives. We need a way to focus all that energy. Graduation is the ultimate goal of students in K-12 education.

I've always been a lifesaver

I have a unique view into the complexities of public education with my background in human resources, public safety, and mental health. These are the most important topics impacting our schools today. This positions me as the ideal candidate to lead Thompson's School Board into the future.

Did you know that Thompson has nationally recognized safety & security?  

I've served on the Security and Emergency Management Committee while TSD has decreased student citations by more than 50%!

 

Creating TSD's own co-responder unit where mental health professionals partner with law enforcement is innovative and effective. In fact, the team has tripled in size in less than a year and handles more calls than all other SRO teams combined. Along with the increase in District & campus security, SummitStone, and law enforcement our schools are more secure than ever before.
